On Saturday, September 6, 2025, the grand finale of the next-generation aerial motorsport “AIR RACE X 2025” was held under clear autumn skies in Osaka Ume-kita. The event, officially titled “AIR RACE X 2025 Sekisui House Osaka Ume-kita Digital Race in Grand Green Osaka & Grand Front Osaka” and powered by STYLY’s AR spectator experience, drew large crowds and set the city abuzz with excitement.
The 2025 AIR RACE X season unfolded as an intense three-way battle among reigning champion Yoshihide Muroya (Japan / LEXUS PATHFINDER AIR RACING), rising star Patrick Davidson (South Africa / Team 77), and rookie Aarron Deliu (Australia / Aarron Deliu Racing).
In the Osaka Ume-kita finale, Muroya and Davidson faced off in a dramatic semifinal, both chasing top qualifier Deliu. Davidson emerged victorious in the heated clash, and went on to claim the win in the final race as well. With this triumph, he not only secured the Osaka finale crown but also overtook the series standings, earning the title of 2025 AIR RACE X World Champion.
The AIR RACE X Digital Race offers an entirely new style of motorsport, where fans can witness “flying race planes” emerging in urban spaces through AR on smartphones and tablets, powered by the spatial layer platform STYLY.
At the venue, leading contenders for the series championship—including Yoshihide Muroya—appeared in person, engaging with spectators through meet-and-greet sessions and talk shows that generated tremendous excitement.
