STYLY Inc., provider of the Spatial Layer Platform, and TOKYO DOME Corporation are proud to announce that their jointly developed free-roaming VR experience “THE MOON CRUISE” has been selected as a finalist in the “XR Film & Experience of the Year” category at the XR Awards Gala 2025, one of the world’s leading global XR awards.
The XR Awards Gala 2025, organized by the Academy of International Extended Reality (AIXR)—one of the largest XR associations in the world—is held in collaboration with the European XR Awards® and AWE (Augmented World Expo).
Recognizing excellence across innovation, creativity, and social impact in the XR (AR/VR/MR) fields, the award celebrates outstanding projects and creators worldwide.
For the first time, the 2025 edition unites these major awards into a single global event held in Brussels, Belgium, featuring groundbreaking XR projects across education, healthcare, entertainment, and the arts.
Being selected as a finalist represents high recognition from industry experts and peers alike, with THE MOON CRUISE earning particular acclaim for its technological innovation.
Winners will be announced at the XR Awards Gala 2025 ceremony.

“THE MOON CRUISE” is a free-roaming VR experience located within Space Travelium TeNQ, part of TOKYO DOME CITY.
Participants don a spacesuit, board a rocket, and explore a life-sized moon environment layered onto the real-world space. The experience includes social interaction with fellow “travelers,” moon-rover rides, tossing moon rocks, and capturing selfies — all designed to create lasting memories worth sharing.
This 20-minute adventure delivers a blend of immersion and interactivity that makes participants truly feel like they’ve traveled to the moon together.

“Space Travelium TeNQ” is a space-themed entertainment complex offering exhibitions, VR attractions, art, learning spaces, cafés, and shops that spark curiosity and connect visitors with the universe.
