Tokyo, Japan — XR platform STYLY is redefining how people engage with immersive storytelling by making its experimental café permanent. Starting February 1, 2025, the STYLY ULTRA EXPERIENCE CAFÉ will open daily inside 404 Not Found, a cultural co-creation hub located on the 4th floor of Shibuya Sakura Stage.
The café’s flagship experience is a cinematic XR mystery, “The Three Psychometers – Solve the Kidnapping Case,” directed by acclaimed filmmaker Shinichiro Ueda (One Cut of the Dead). The project debuted as a three-day event in September 2024, sold out within a week, and now returns as a fully upgraded installation with on-demand access for walk-in guests using head-mounted displays.

What Is STYLY ULTRA EXPERIENCE CAFÉ?
Launched in 2024 as a limited pop-up, the café concept lets visitors purchase immersive XR experiences as casually as they would a cup of coffee. From a curated menu of “spatial experiences,” guests can select their narrative of choice and dive in—blurring the lines between cinema, gaming, and everyday life.

About the Experience:
“The Three Psychometers ”by Shinichiro Ueda – Solve the Kidnapping Case”
In this interactive mystery, participants play as a team of “psychometers”—investigators who can read memories embedded in objects. Using XR technology and synchronized headsets, players unravel the fragments of a kidnapping case before time runs out.
Tokyo. A child has been abducted. The kidnapper demands 10 million yen. With the clock ticking, three psychometers are secretly summoned by police. Each has one chance to use their power. Will their visions be enough to uncover the truth?
Experience Notes:
Sessions require 2–3 players (solo play is not supported)
For ages 13+; guardians must accompany younger visitors
No spoilers, please—help preserve the mystery for future players
Full refunds available in case of technical issues
XR Playback: Optimized for PICO 4 Ultra
The experience is compatible with PICO 4 and PICO 4 Ultra, a next-gen standalone XR headset released in Japan in late 2024. With ultra-high-resolution displays and seamless performance, the device elevates immersion to cinematic levels.
